Golf cart dimensions: 2-, 4- and 6-seater sizes
On the golf carts we build, a 2-seater is 2,360 mm (about 93 in) long, a 4-seater in the 2+2 layout is 2,860 mm (about 113 in), and a 6-seater in the 4+2 layout is 3,610 mm (about 142 in). All 3 are 1,330 mm (about 52 in) wide and 1,900 mm (about 75 in) tall on the standard chassis. A lifted chassis raises the height to 2,040 mm (about 80 in).
The tables below compare our 2-, 4- and 6-seat passenger models, utility carts and electric utility vehicles. Length, width, height and wheelbase are shown in millimeters and approximate inches; turning radius is in meters, and weight without the battery is in kilograms.

Standard 2-, 4- and 6-seater golf cart dimensions #
The 2+2 and 4+2 layouts put a rear-facing seat at the back; the Premium models seat everyone facing forward, which makes them slightly longer and narrower. Weights are curb weights without the battery.
Inch and feet-and-inches values are rounded to the nearest inch. Use the millimeter values for clearance checks and allow additional space for access and loading.

Lifted golf cart dimensions #
The lifted chassis gives 190 mm of minimum ground clearance, against 140 mm on the standard chassis, on all-terrain wheels. Compared with the standard version of the same model, it adds 70 mm of length and 140 mm of height on the 2+2 and 4+2 layouts, and 60 mm of length and 80 mm of height on the Premium models; width and wheelbase do not change.

Utility cart and electric utility vehicle dimensions #
The utility carts carry a fixed polymer cargo box on the lifted chassis. The electric utility vehicles carry an aluminum tipping bed: 800 mm long on the dump-bed model and 1,300 mm long on the long-bed model, both 1,100 mm wide and 300 mm deep. Each electric utility vehicle has the same overall size in its RWD and 4x4 builds; only the weight differs.

Single rider golf cart size #
Our single rider golf cart is 2,146 mm long, 1,000 mm wide and 1,755 mm tall (about 84 × 39 × 69 in). It has a 1,410 mm (about 56 in) wheelbase, a turning radius of 3.5 m or less, about 100 mm of minimum ground clearance, and a total weight of up to 310 kg including the battery.
What changes a golf cart’s size #
- Seating layout. A rear-facing seat adds length without adding wheelbase: our 2-seater and 2+2 4-seater share a 1,675 mm wheelbase, and the 2+2 is 500 mm longer. The all-forward-facing 4-Seater Premium moves to a 2,075 mm wheelbase.
- Lift. Our lifted chassis adds height and a little length, not width.
- Wheelbase and turning. Our passenger 2- and 4-seaters turn in a 4 m radius; the 6-seaters need 4.5 to 5 m. On narrow paths or tight lots, check the turning radius as well as the length.
- Cargo. Swapping the rear seat for a cargo box or a tipping bed changes the length; see the utility table above.
Garage, trailer and showroom checks #
- Garage.Measure the garage door’s clear opening width and height, then check the usable parking length and width inside. Compare these measurements with the cart’s overall dimensions, confirm whether the listed width includes the mirrors, and allow room for access and charging.
- Trailer.Compare the trailer’s usable deck length and narrowest usable width with the cart’s overall dimensions. Check the trailer’s payload capacity and the ramp’s load rating against the cart’s transport weight, including the battery and any equipment carried; do not add the battery again if the quoted weight already includes it.
- Showroom floor. Length × width gives the footprint of each cart before walking space: about 33.8 sq ft for our 2-seater, 40.9 sq ft for the 2+2 4-seater and 51.7 sq ft for the 4+2 6-seater.
- Shipping container. When you order from us, different models can be mixed in 1 container. The number of carts that fit depends on the model mix.

- Our 4-seater in the 2+2 layout (2 forward-facing seats and a rear-facing seat for 2) is 2,860 mm, about 113 in or 9 ft 5 in, long. The all-forward-facing 4-Seater Premium is 2,935 mm (about 116 in), and the lifted 2+2 is 2,930 mm (about 115 in).
- How long is a 6 seater golf cart?
- Our 6-seater in the 4+2 layout is 3,610 mm, about 142 in or 11 ft 10 in, long. The all-forward-facing 6-Seater Premium is 3,720 mm (about 146 in), and the lifted versions are 3,680 mm and 3,780 mm.
- How wide is a golf cart?
- Our standard and lifted 2-, 4- and 6-seaters are 1,330 mm wide (about 52 in). The Premium all-forward-facing models are 1,270 mm (about 50 in). When you compare any spec sheet against a door or trailer, check whether the width figure includes the mirrors.
- How tall is a lifted golf cart?
- Our lifted 2+2 and 4+2 carts are 2,040 mm tall (about 80 in), against 1,900 mm (about 75 in) for the standard chassis. The lifted Premium models are 2,080 mm (about 82 in). The lifted chassis gives 190 mm of minimum ground clearance, against 140 mm on the standard chassis.
